Colophon
A colophon is a brief statement about how a book was produced. In this case it explains how this website was made.
Technologies
I used Jekyll to generate the static files for this website, which is deployed on Netlify, allowing me to avoid server management.
The site’s theme and individual components are built using plain CSS, and scripts are vanilla Javascript. I wanted to avoid using any heavy JS libraries.
All individual posts are written in Markdown for easy portability. My content management system (CMS) consists of a collection of files and folders on my operating system, and I use GitHub for version control and backups.
Typography
All fonts are self-hosted for enhanced privacy and performance. The body text is set in Inter by Rasmus Andersson, while headers use Roboto Condensed by Christian Robertson.
